Sovereign & compliant
Data storage within the EU, transparent access and audit processes; governance, identity, and FinOps from day one.
SOVEREIGN CLOUD with TRUSTEQ and STACKIT
STACKIT is the cloud provider of the Schwarz Group. External partners and customers across Europe can also rely on the cloud services that the companies of the Schwarz Group have benefited from for years during their digital transformation. On its path to becoming the first European hyperscaler, STACKIT offers a level of digital sovereignty far beyond market standards, as well as tailored approaches for implementing and operating cloud solutions. STACKIT currently operates four data centers—one of them in Austria—and is building a fifth in Lübbenau. From its home base in Neckarsulm in southern Germany, the team is paving the way for an independent Europe—digital and leading. As part of Schwarz Digits, STACKIT GmbH & Co. KG belongs to the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group.
TRUSTEQ combines consulting and engineering—from strategic assessment all the way to productive operations on STACKIT. This enables us to build a cloud platform that ensures compliance while delivering maximum scalability, resilience, and performance.

For companies that want to evaluate STACKIT. Goal: readiness status, target architecture, prioritized actions, and roadmap. Included are an assessment of the current state (access, connectivity, security, workloads, compliance, costs), a target architecture with reference design and operating model, as well as a decision brief with roadmap and quick wins.
For teams that need a ready‑to‑use platform on STACKIT and want to use Kubernetes for microservices — without migration. The goal is a secure cloud architecture with a Kubernetes cluster, security policies, deployment pipelines, and monitoring. Included are a foundational architecture with landing zone and governance, infrastructure for workloads (Kubernetes, compute nodes), as well as measures for security, deployment, and observability.
For organizations with existing applications or data that want to consolidate or move to STACKIT. The goal is a prioritized workload running productively on STACKIT — with secure connectivity, hardened operations, and complete documentation. Included are an assessment with a migration plan, implementation in a PoC (rehost, rearchitect, refactor, replatform, or rebuild), comprehensive security hardening, and a structured handover.
For teams that want to stabilize and improve their operations but do not require 24/7 support. The goal is reliable operations on STACKIT from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with defined response times and monthly improvements. Included are monitoring and alerting with incident and change processes, security and update measures, FinOps cost control, as well as continuous enhancement and knowledge transfer.
Our team designs and builds cloud architectures and applications on STACKIT — secure, cost‑conscious, and without unnecessary complexity. We guide you through clear steps from decision brief to operations.
Project timelines vary significantly. After a short readiness check, we confirm the scope, the sequence of milestones, the acceptance criteria, and a time estimate. This keeps the plan reliable without making unrealistic promises.
With the kickstart package, your production‑ready foundation is in place within 3–4 weeks. On‑site meetings are optional.
Typically, you need a small core team (IT/architecture), access to your current environment, and clarity on goals and constraints. We handle the rest — from readiness check to architecture, migration, or operations.
IaC templates, open standards (Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry), portable pipelines, and documented exit strategies.
EU jurisdiction, control over access, transparent operational and audit processes, all aligned with your compliance requirements.
Yes. We offer enablement for your teams, co‑ops with operational support, or a lightweight operations and support package.
For the cloud readiness assessment and landing zones, we offer fixed‑scope packages; extensions can be added flexibly in an agile manner.
“With STACKIT, we enable our customers — especially those with a strong focus on data protection — to modernize their IT systems using sovereign cloud technology. We support our customers end‑to‑end and also ensure stable operations.”
